Position: Manager of Systems Operations
Department: Information Technology

Description of Duties: Responsible for the timely and reliable delivery of system services, including 24x7 data center, network hardware systems, network operating software, messaging, LAN, WAN, desktop services and support, end user services and support and telecommunications services and support enterprise-wide.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology with 10-15 years experience in an IT management level role within a corporate data center running IBM z-series platform, Windows servers, active directory and VMWare environment and BGP.
MCP, MCSA, MCSE and other technical certifications desired..
Experience/Skills: Extensive experience in integrating systems in a heterogeneous environment. Significant experience in high level system planning, design, maintenance and troubleshooting. Prior managerial experience that includes directing, motivating and empowering staff in the successful performance of their tasks. Demonstrated ability to plan and control projects and an in-depth understanding of operating systems and networking. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to internal and external customers.
