Preferred Mutual is committed to offering the same exceptional service on a new auto policy that we’ve always provided to our homeowner policyholders.
Discounts available are:
- Multi-policy - A discount is given if both your home/tenant/condo/mobile home and your auto policy are insured with Preferred Mutual.
- Multi-car - A discount is given if you insure more than one vehicle.
- Anti-lock Brake - A discount is given if your vehicle is equipped with an anti-lock brake system (ABS).
- Good Student Driver - A discount is given if the operator of the vehicle is inexperienced, a full time student and has a “B” average.
- Driver’s Training - A discount is given if the operator of the vehicle is inexperienced and has taken an approved driver’s training course.
- Annual Mileage - A discount is given if you drive your vehicle less than 7500 miles annually.
- Passive Restraint - A discount is given if your vehicle is equipped with passive restraints.
- Anti-theft - A discount is given if your vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft device.
- Age 65 and older - Premium reduction of 25%.
- Future Effective Date - A discount is given if your new business application is issued 7 or more days prior to the effective date of the policy.
In addition, included at no extra charge:
- New Car Repair/Replacement - If you purchase your vehicle new and you have a loss within the first year of purchase,
you will have replacement cost rather than actual cash value (other than fire, theft or vandalism).
- Accident Forgiveness - After you have been with Preferred Mutual more than three years, your first at fault accident will not raise your premium.
- Identity Theft Resolution Services - As a Personal Lines policyholder, you’ll receive FREE Identity Theft Resolution Services™.
You will have support to resolve identity theft issues, recover important documents when you are a victim of a fire or natural disaster, and protect yourself through education and
awareness with one phone call.
- Good Pay/Loyalty - On renewal, if you made prompt payments a discount up to 5% will be given.
