Robert Wadsworth, former Chief Executive Officer and current Chairman of the
Board at Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, was recently recognized by the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) for his service to the property/casualty industry. Wadsworth was one of five individuals to be recognized at NAMIC’s 119th Annual Convention in National Harbor, M.D.
Wadsworth was the President and Chief Executive Officer at Preferred Mutual for more than 11 years before his retirement in 2008. In addition to serving as current Chairman of the Board at Preferred, Wadsworth’s other professional affiliations have included the American Association of Insurance Services, the New York Insurance Association, Excess Reinsurance Co., and the Southern Tier Regional Advisory Board for NBT Bank Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters. He also served as the chairman of NAMIC in 2005-2006.
