A.M. Best Affirms Preferred Mutual’s ‘A’ (Excellent) Financial Strength Rating

These ratings are given to insurance companies who not only have excellent financial stability, but demonstrate the ability to meet the contractual needs of their policyholders.

Preferred Mutual Insurance Company’s (“Preferred Mutual”) current Financial Strength Rating (FSR) and Issuer Credit Rating (ICR) have been affirmed by A.M. Best as “A” (Excellent) and “A+,” respectively, effective May 2019. The outlook for both ratings is stable.

These ratings are given to insurance companies who not only have excellent financial stability, but also are able to meet the contractual needs of their policyholders. Preferred has consistently held the ‘A’ rating for 17 consecutive years.
