Duane Meszler Appointed Director, Personal Lines Underwriting

Duane Meszler was recently appointed Director, Personal Lines Underwriting for Preferred Mutual Insurance Company. In his new role, Meszler joins the Strategic Leadership Team continuing his efforts to strengthen Preferred Mutual’s underwriting capabilities. 

Duane joined Preferred Mutual in 2018 as Personal Lines Underwriting Manager for New York and New Jersey. During his tenure, he executed strategic profitability initiatives to positively impact the Company’s combined ratio. Meszler represented Underwriting on various projects and committees including the launching of pricing models and Change Marshal. Recently, he has focused his efforts on broader topics such as expense savings, underwriting control measures, and developing property management tools. 

Duane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Government from Campbell University.
